The extra features that this collection offers are quite good. You have what is basically an art museum where you can view some of the fantastic artwork that makes up this amazing series. There is a soundtrack that you can listen to as well. There are various options for the games such as lives, difficulty, and so on. There are also some cool interviews with people who worked on the game.
As good as these features are, I do wish that there was some great making of style documentaries on here too. As you can tell, I love this series and I think that the Metal Slug Anthology would be a great way for you to jump into the series.
I do prefer the Nintendo Wii version of the game, but I think that the others are fine too. As I said, the cost of having each of these games on the Neo-Geo would be astronomical, but this collection is here so you do not need to worry about it.
